I bought scrapbook paper for this craft, and didn't realize til I got home and set it on my bed that it totally matched my comforter.

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
As we prepared for the lesson, we wondered: If the Word of God is a double-edged sword...would four make an octagonal edged sword?

A ghost! But really, running fast enough to be a blur. And the neon streak of a firefly in the foreground.

The frame of my papasan chair. I washed the cushion on it for the first time, which due to its substantial bulk was quite an adventure.

Fringe on my blanket with some photoshop effects. On a completely unrelated note, today's My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers is very good.

Part of downtown, near the hospital. We skated about half of this greenway this morning and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful views of the river along the way.

One of the local deer in our backyard around noon. It must have been such a quiet morning - no mowers or kids playing outside - for this doe to have ventured into the middle of a residential circle.

I think a rag on a towel rack can be beautiful. The simple color contrast, and the folds of the fabric over the wrought iron bar make this image interesting in my opinion.

A bunch of random stuff all in a pile waiting to be put away. A few USB chargers, gum, sharpie, and chocolate.

Beautiful butterflies that posed nicely for pictures. A meadow fritillary above and a zebra swallowtail below. I love seeing the tiny colored scales that make up butterfly wings.

Smoothie making fail. It looked promising, until we tasted it. I think it had ice cream, ice, whipped cream, milk, lemonade mix, marshmallows, and vanilla. Dangerous things can happen when poor college students mix up leftovers....
